peridium: pyramidal warts with depressed apex adhering strongly to black glebe;
Soil: black-brown purplish with a whitish thick and thin veins;
Smell: aromatic, particular, not too pungent, pleasant;
edibility: excellent, rather fine. Some prefer the more famous tuber magnatum;
Availability in the market: November / March;
Consumption and Conservation: It can consume raw flakes, even better with light cooking, that intensify flavors. A good accompaniment to eggs and meat; try fillings, volatile, ravioli and tortellini, as well as within the paté. For storage it is recommended to deposit it in a tightly sealed jar in the least cold part of the refrigerator, for a maximum of ten days, then move on to freezing.
